What is PLLA?
PLLA treatment refers to the use of Poly-L-Lactic Acid (PLLA) in aesthetic or medical procedures, primarily as an injectable treatment to stimulate collagen production.
Sculptra & Aesplla
Sculptra & Aesplla are FDA approved unique collagen injections which help to gradually replace lost collagen, volumise and repair the ageing face.
PLLA is particularly effective in areas where the cheeks have fallen giving rise to a sunken, older appearance.
The specialist injects treatment within the deep dermis, where strands of collagen support your skin’s structure. Over time, Sculptra helps the body reproduce lost collagen. The number of injection appointments and the number of injections per appointment vary from person to person, depending on how much collagen has been lost. On average, three injection appointments are needed over a period of a few months.
Sculptra is injected directly into the skin, helping to stimulate the body’s own production of new collagen to thicken the skin, soften lines and wrinkles, and create volume in areas of fat loss. This creates smoother, tighter and firmer skin.
