TEAR TROUGH FILLERS - UNDER EYE
TEAR TROUGH
As we age, facial tissue atrophy and skin thinning occurs. This, in turn, can lead to dark sunken eyes and a visible groove. A combination of this groove and thinning skin means that eyes are often surrounded by a shadow making the eyes look aged and tired. The area around the eye is sensitive therefore many clients wish to have a treatment that is non-invasive but will rejuvenate the area, the least invasive way of correcting this cosmetically is with the use of Dermal Fillers.
With minimal recovery time and outstanding results, Tear Trough Fillers can be the ideal treatment. We use Dermal Filler to treat the trough or groove of the eye area, improving tissue density and skin quality. Dermal fillers replace the tissue that has been lost from this area and reduces visibility of underlying structures such as ligaments.
We only use semi-permanent Dermal Fillers composed of Hyaluronic Acid. Hyaluronic Acid is naturally found throughout our bodies. It is in our skin, joints, bones and eyes therefore when injected into the skin it is naturally absorbed by the body meaning results appear natural and are not permanent like other alternatives.

HOW LONG WILL THE RESULTS LAST FOR?
Dermal Fillers are well known for delivering outstanding results. Results from Dermal Fillers begin to show immediately after treatment and can last 6-9 months.
To give your filler the best chance of lasting as long as possible, there are filler aftercare steps you can take. If you look after your skin with sun cream and follow a good skin care regime then your dermal fillers will last longer.
In addition to this, for the best dermal filler aftercare, do not squeeze, massage or mess around with the treated area, as this could cause the filler to break down more quickly and mean you get to enjoy the results for less time. In areas of the face that we naturally move less, your fillers will naturally last longer.
